Alkesh Shah is the Founder and CEO of Layered Insight Partners, a strategic advisory firm focused on artificial intelligence, digital assets, blockchain, and the emerging Space Economy. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Covalis Capital LLP and Chainlink Labs, and is a member of the Advisory Board of Join Digital.
Most recently, Shah was a Managing Director and Head of U.S. Software & AI Equity Research at Bank of America, where he led the firm’s AI and digital asset research strategy. He previously served as Head of Crypto and Global Digital Assets Strategy, helping shape institutional understanding of blockchain and digital assets. He also led Bank of America’s digital and mobile strategy within the Data and Innovation Group.
Prior to Bank of America, Shah was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where he led the global Communications Technology research team to an Institutional Investor #1 ranking. Over the course of his career, he has been recognized by The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street,” Institutional Investor, Reuters, First Call, and Greenwich Associates for his sector leadership and stock selection.
Global corporates and fintechs are shifting to programmable, instant, cross-border payments.
